Volleyball Recap: Adairsville Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Adairsville faced off against Central on Thursday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Central found their leader in sophomore Julianna Johnston, who had seven digs and one assist.

Adairsville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Adairsville will square off against Coosa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Allatoona on the 7th.
