Ansel Hermanos made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single walk in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ari Samson, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Terje Steele was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Luke Upshaw was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Nick Kullman, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Berean Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The Bay School's record is now 6-1. As for Berean Christian, their record now sits at 6-2.
Tuesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. The Bay School hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .319.
