Tolar hadn't done well against Crawford recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rattlers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pirates. For the Rattlers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2019.

Tolar had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-12.

Crawford's loss came despite strong showings from Leyton Minnix and Ava Johnson. Minnix had 20 digs and six aces, while Johnson had 12 digs.
