Softball Recap: Harding University Rams vs. Hopewell Titans        
        
		
            
 Sadly, Harding University is still looking for their first win of the season after four  matches. They suffered a  rough 17-2 defeat at the hands of the Hopewell Titans  on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Harding University of the  24-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  on March 5th.
 For Hopewell's part, they got a  massive  performance out of  Samantha Jones, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mariah Jackson, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 1-for-1.
 Harding University's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hopewell, their victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Harding University and West Charlotte will shake off the cobwebs and  challenge  one another  at 5:30  p.m.  on April 8th. As for Hopewell, they will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mallard Creek at 5:30  p.m.  on April 9th.
