Soccer Recap: Buchholz Takes a Loss

Buchholz lost against Bishop Kenny back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Buchholz Bobcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Kenny Crusaders. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 190th, while the Crusaders are ranked 44th).

Buchholz's goal came courtesy of Abby Bowen, who's now up to nine this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Buchholz and nudges their season record down to 7-4-2. As for Bishop Kenny, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2-2.

Buchholz will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Trinity Catholic at 6:00 p.m. As for Bishop Kenny, they will host Oakleaf at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday.
