While New Smyrna Beach might've come up empty on Friday, Armoni Spurlock wasn't going down without a fight. Rockledge had no answer to Spurlock as he picked up 44 receiving yards.
New Smyrna Beach moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. Spurlock and New Smyrna Beach will face off against Pine Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Deltona was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Damarion Phillips did his best to prevent it. Phillips turned in nothing short of a gem, making eight total tackles.
Deltona is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7. Phillips and Deltona will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Seabreeze at 7:00 p.m. on November 7th.

Kurz Came Up Big in Seabreeze's 24-6 Victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Cash Kurz stepped things up a notch to give Seabreeze the 'W'. Nobody could stop Kurz as he made three total tackles and defended four passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned for a touchdown.
Seabreeze's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. Kurz and Seabreeze will square off against Mainland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Jeremias George Leads Seabreeze over Pine Ridge
Jeremias George produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Seabreeze to the win on Thursday. George rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 64 receiving yards.
On the year, George has averaged 14.6 receiving yards per game.
