Evergreen Park put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Amundsen Vikings by a score of 9-4. The nine-run effort marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Noah Munoz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Munoz was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Robert Welcome was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Carlos Flores was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Evergreen Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Evergreen Park's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Amundsen, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Evergreen Park beat Amundsen by a score of 12-2 later that day.
