Softball Game Preview: Northview Wildcats vs. Napoleon Wildcats

Northview will take on Napoleon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Northview's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Napoleon has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Northview heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Friday. They lost 7-1 to Clay. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered since April 19, 2024.

Memorial hit Napoleon with a five-run fifth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wildcats fell 11-6 to the Roughriders.

Emma Grisier (Jr) made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

Napoleon's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15-1. As for Northview, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8-1.
