Softball Recap: Abington Comes Up Short

Abington fell victim to Plymouth Whitemarsh and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Colonials, falling 13-0. The loss continues a trend for the Galloping Ghosts in their meetings with the Colonials: they've now lost five in a row.

Abington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Abington is set to take on their familiar foe Springfield Township at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Plymouth Whitemarsh will challenge rival Upper Moreland at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
