Foothill is a perfect 10-0 against Livermore since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Falcons will head out to face off against the Cowboys at 6:30 p.m. Foothill will be strutting in after a victory while Livermore will be coming in after a defeat.

Foothill took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Dublin. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Gaels: they've now won eight in a row.

Foothill was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-9, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Livermore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Amador Valley.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Amador Valley scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-21.

Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Livermore, their loss dropped their record down to 7-18.

Everything went Foothill's way against Livermore in their previous meeting last Tuesday, as Foothill made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cowboys turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
