Volleyball Recap: Wheeling Wildcats vs. Prospect Knights
Wheeling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prospect Knights. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September.
The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-10.
Wheeling's loss dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Prospect, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-18.
Wheeling has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Evanston on the 19th. As for Prospect, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hoffman Estates at 6:00 p.m. Hoffman Estates will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Prospect surely won't give up without a fight.
