Softball Recap: Eagle Point Takes a Loss

Eagle Point and Crater squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Eagle Point had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Comets by a score of 2-1. The Eagles have struggled against the Comets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Eagle Point saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madisyn Dean, who went 1-for-4 with one double.

Eagle Point's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Crater, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-8.

As of now, neither Eagle Point nor the Comets have any future games scheduled.
