Baseball Recap: GMG Triumphs

GMG took a nine-run loss the last time they faced off against North Tama, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolverines won by a run and slipped past the Redhawks 7-6. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Redhawks back in May, they had to take a 13-4 defeat.

GMG's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for North Tama, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.

GMG will venture away from home to square off against BCLUW at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines will need to watch out since the Comets have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for North Tama, they will be playing at home against Baxter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Baxter will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something North Tama surely won't give up without a fight.
