Softball Game Preview: Fall Mountain Wildcats vs. Monadnock Huskies

Fall Mountain hasn't had much luck against Monadnock recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Wildcats will welcome the Huskies at 4:00 p.m. Fall Mountain will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Fall Mountain will bounce into Wednesday's matchup after beating Conant, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Orioles with a sharp 10-4 win on Monday. Considering the Wildcats have won four games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Monadnock lost 19-4 to Prospect Mountain on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Apaches: they've now lost six in a row.

Monadnock's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Fall Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 7-4.
