Soccer Recap: Lake Buena Vista Takes a Loss

Lake Buena Vista saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bishop Moore Hornets by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Vipers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 218th, while the Hornets are ranked 48th).

This is the second loss in a row for Lake Buena Vista and nudges their season record down to 4-6-2. As for Bishop Moore, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2-2.

Lake Buena Vista didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Palmetto on the 2nd. As for Bishop Moore, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Spruce Creek on the 2nd.
