Softball Recap: Valley Lutheran Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Valley Lutheran's offense. They came up short against the Hemlock Huskies on Friday, falling 16-0. The Chargers have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Valley Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Hemlock, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Valley Lutheran didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 23-2 defeat against Rogers City on the 17th. As for Hemlock, they will take on Michigan Lutheran Seminary at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season.
