Basketball Recap: Wayland Takes a Loss

Wayland was the 52-51 winner over Thornapple Kellogg when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wayland Wildcats fell 68-58 to the Thornapple Kellogg Trojans on Wednesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayland's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Thornapple Kellogg, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Wayland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 86-63 defeat against Northview on the 16th. Thornapple Kellogg has also already played their next contest (against Wyoming), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
