Basketball Recap: Pallotti Takes a Loss

Pallotti was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 70-53 bruising from the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars. The Panthers were probably out for revenge after losing 72-50 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pallotti's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Pallotti is taking a road trip to face off against Mount St. Joseph at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-39 win against Calvert Hall on the 13th.
