Volleyball Recap: Bassett Comes Up Short on the Road Against Baldwin Park

Bassett had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Baldwin Park Braves on Tuesday. The Olympians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Bassett was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Baldwin Park work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-14, 19-25, 25-20.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bassett will challenge Calvary Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Baldwin Park, they will venture away from home to challenge Covina at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
