Basketball Recap: Caesar Rodney Comes Up Short

Caesar Rodney was the 69-65 winner over Smyrna when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Caesar Rodney Riders took a 67-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Smyrna Eagles on Monday. The Riders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caesar Rodney's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Smyrna, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Smyrna beat Caesar Rodney by a score of 67-56 on Tuesday.
