Basketball Recap: Fort Worth Christian Takes a Loss

Fort Worth Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 30-28 heartbreaker at the hands of the Trinity Christian Lions. The Cardinals lost against the Lions in their previous head to head back in February of 2016, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 89-29 score last time.

Fort Worth Christian's record is now 13-18. As for Trinity Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-17.

Fort Worth Christian will host Midland Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Trinity Christian, they will face off against Coram Deo Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
