After flying high against ESTEM two weeks ago, Monticello came back down to earth. The Billies fell just short of the Star City Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Monticello's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Monticello's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2-1. As for Star City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monticello will challenge Lisa Academy North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Star City, they will face off against Warren at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
