Football Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Trinity extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They had to suffer through a 37-6 loss at the hands of the Bishop McGuinness Villains. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Villains apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2018.

Khad'N Fuller threw for 38 yards and one touchdown. Max Kendall was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards and one TD.

As for Bishop McGuinness, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1. That 31 point margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Bishop McGuinness had a senior duo take command as Tristan Styers threw for 191 yards and three TDs and Henry Kyle picked up 90 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Trinity didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-24 win against Surry Central on the 19th. As for Bishop McGuinness, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 40-6 victory against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy on the 19th.
