Basketball Game Preview: Notre Dame Prep Saints vs. Campo Verde Coyotes

The Notre Dame Prep Saints will face off against the Campo Verde Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Notre Dame Prep is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Horizon just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 59-48 to the Huskies.

Meanwhile, Campo Verde had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They blew past the Wolves 76-34. The Coyotes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 27 points or more this season.

Notre Dame Prep's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 12-9. As for Campo Verde, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Notre Dame Prep barely slipped by Campo Verde in their previous matchup on January 9th, winning 54-53. Will Notre Dame Prep repeat their success, or does Campo Verde have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
