Softball Game Preview: Buckeye Central Bucks vs. Upper Sandusky Rams

For the second straight game, Buckeye Central will face off against Upper Sandusky. The Bucks will challenge the Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Buckeye Central is on a four-game streak of home wins, Upper Sandusky a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.

Buckeye Central is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Upper Sandusky just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 14-7 to the Rams.

For Upper Sandusky's part, Madison Wengerd was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Wengerd a new career-high. Madison Hart was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Upper Sandusky is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Buckeye Central, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.
