There's no place like home for Cardinal O'Hara, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Archbishop Carroll Patriots 8-1 on Monday. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Jack Quinn made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Quinn was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with four RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brendan Till, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. He also put up a home run, which was his first of the season. Jack Coleman was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

Cardinal O'Hara was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Archbishop Carroll only posted a batting average of .043.

The win got Cardinal O'Hara back to even at 2-2. As for Archbishop Carroll, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4.
