Basketball Game Preview: Burr & Burton Bulldogs vs. Brattleboro Bears

Burr & Burton is 2-8 against Brattleboro since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Burr & Burton Bulldogs will host the Brattleboro Bears at 7:00 p.m. Burr & Burton has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 196 points over their last three matchups.

Last Thursday, Burr & Burton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 71-66 to Essex.

Meanwhile, Brattleboro played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 60-39 to Hartford. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Hurricanes recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Burr & Burton will need focus on slowing down Oscar Korson, one of several Brattleboro players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dillon Jenks, who put up four points and eight rebounds.

Brattleboro's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Burr & Burton, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.

Burr & Burton didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Brattleboro when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 52-48 win.
