It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Worthington Kilbourne Wolves ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They slipped by Canal Winchester 53-52. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Worthington Kilbourne as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
It was another big night for Aidan Gallogly, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Te'mar Lewis was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Worthington Kilbourne's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Canal Winchester, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-11.
Worthington Kilbourne will take on Dublin Scioto at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dublin Scioto presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Worthington Kilbourne in Ohio (Dublin Scioto is ranked 157th, while Worthington Kilbourne is ranked 340th). As for Canal Winchester, they will head out on the road to take on Franklin Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
