Baseball Recap: Golder's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Golder came into Monday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Mansueto Leopards by a score of 10-7 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their one-run performance the contest before.

The team relied heavily on Yadier Kelly, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Drysch, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Golder's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Mansueto, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Golder will venture away from home to challenge Rauner at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mansueto, they will challenge Kelly at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th.
