Basketball Recap: Eisenhower's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Eisenhower won the last time they faced Notre Dame and things went their way on Monday too. The Eisenhower Eagles walked away with a 68-61 victory over the Notre Dame Titans. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Notre Dame lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Caiden Broughton, who posted 23 points and six boards. The matchup was Broughton's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Jaxon Coduti was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Eisenhower's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-16. As for Notre Dame, they dropped their record down to 5-11 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Eisenhower didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-48 defeat against Fontana on the 15th. Notre Dame has also already played their next game, a 62-52 loss against San Gorgonio on the 15th.
