Football Recap: Burley Comes Up Short

Burley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 35-28 to the Jerome Tigers. The game was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Bobcats couldn't quite close it out.

Burley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Jerome, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Coming up, Burley will take on Twin Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jerome, they will welcome Caldwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.14 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
