Basketball Recap: Round Lake Takes a Loss

Round Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Harvard Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-44 back in November of 2024.

Round Lake's loss dropped their record down to 1-27. As for Harvard, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-21.

Round Lake has already played their next game, a 72-26 defeat against Zion-Benton on the 24th. As for Harvard, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-63 loss against Woodstock North on the 24th.
