West Ouachita hasn't had much luck against Ouachita Christian recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The West Ouachita Chiefs will host the Ouachita Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, West Ouachita turned things around against Claiborne Christian on Monday. They managed a 51-46 win over the Crusaders.

Meanwhile, Ouachita Christian had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.6 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Monday. They blew past the Bulldogs 55-10. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Ouachita Christian's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.1 points. As for West Ouachita, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.
