Volleyball Game Preview: Skyline Eagles vs. Brighton Bengals

Skyline is 0-3 against Brighton since March of 2024 but things could change on Thursday. The Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Bengals at 6:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Brighton will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Skyline extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. Everything went the Eagles' way against West as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Skyline never let West on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 28-26.

Meanwhile, Brighton had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Leopards with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Skyline's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Brighton, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-8.

Skyline might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Brighton when the teams last played back in April. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
