Basketball Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

Concord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Northridge Raiders 78-23. The game marked the Minutemen's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Concord's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Northridge, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Concord and Northridge should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. Concord will face off against Central Noble at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday up 139 places (130 vs. 269). Concord will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Meanwhile, Northridge (ranked 27th) will meet Lakeland (ranked 162nd) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
