Basketball Game Preview: Davenport Wolves vs. Fredericksburg Billies

The Davenport Wolves will take on the Fredericksburg Billies at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Davenport knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Fredericksburg likes a good challenge.

Davenport took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 59-32 win over Navarro. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Fredericksburg had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 56-49 victory over Bandera on Tuesday.

Fredericksburg's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Davenport, they are also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.
