Softball Recap: Satellite Takes a Loss

Satellite lost against Eau Gallie back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Satellite took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eau Gallie. The Scorpions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elysse Fredenburg was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Satellite's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-4. As for Eau Gallie, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Satellite will host Viera at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Viera will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Satellite surely won't give up without a fight. As for Eau Gallie, they are taking a road trip to challenge Palm Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
