Basketball Recap: Samantha Tucker Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Booker

On Monday, the Timber Creek Wolves beat the Booker Tornadoes 54-46.

Timber Creek's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Samantha Tucker led the charge by putting up 12 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Madison Perez, who posted 12 points and five rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Booker lost, don't look at Yvette Brown. Despite the final result, she had ten points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Marayah Stuart, who put up five points and seven rebounds.

Timber Creek's record now sits at 13-2. As for Booker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Timber Creek will square off against Northeast at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Timber Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.1 points per game this season. As for Booker, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-60 win against Venice on the 2nd.
