Basketball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short

Buffalo suffered their biggest loss since February 20, 2024 on Friday. They took a blow against the Wayzata Trojans, falling 73-36. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while the Trojans are ranked sixth).

Buffalo's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7. As for Wayzata, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

Buffalo will challenge Hastings at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wayzata, they will take on Eden Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Eden Prairie's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
