Softball Recap: Ray Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Ray can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas by a score of 5-1.

Kaliey Benavides was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexianna Perez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.

Ray's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Ray will venture away from home to challenge Del Rio at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, they will be taking part in a tournament against Hebbronville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
