Basketball Recap: Nazareth Prep Skates Past Environmental Charter with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nazareth Prep). They claimed a resounding 85-37 victory over the Environmental Charter Hawks. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Saints with their most commanding win of the season.

Despite the defeat, Environmental Charter had strong showings from Elijah McBride, who posted 12 points, and Caleb Dalton, who had nine points. Another player making a difference was Tyler Hurst, who put up five points.

Nazareth Prep now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Environmental Charter, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Nazareth Prep will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Perry Traditional Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Environmental Charter, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 68-29 win against Calvary Chapel Christian on the 16th.
