Baseball Preview: Nooksack Valley Pioneers vs. Squalicum Storm
The Nooksack Valley Pioneers will take on the Squalicum Storm at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Nooksack Valley will be strutting in after a win while Squalicum will be coming in after a defeat.
Nooksack Valley was handed a nine-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They skirted past Lynden Christian 6-4. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pioneers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Evan Brown was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits.
