Volleyball Game Preview: Sunrise Mountain Miners vs. Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights

After both having extra time off, the Sunrise Mountain Miners and the Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sunrise Mountain came up short against Las Vegas on Monday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Miners in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-6.

Meanwhile, Mater Academy East Las Vegas came up short against Legacy on Monday and fell 3-1.

Mater Academy East Las Vegas' loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Sunrise Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Sunrise Mountain might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Mater Academy East Las Vegas when the teams last played back in September. Can the Miners avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
