The Clermont Northeastern Rockets will challenge the Eastern Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clermont Northeastern is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
On Friday, Clermont Northeastern made easy work of Felicity-Franklin and carried off a 15-3 win. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Jenna Brown made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Brown was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Meanwhile, Eastern came tearing into Monday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Green Devils get on the board and left with a 1-0 win.
North Adams' batters probably weren't too happy with Allie Grooms, who pitched a no hitter and racked up nine Ks (she gave up zero walks). Grooms has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Eastern's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Shelton, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI. Chloe Hauck also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Clermont Northeastern now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Eastern, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
Clermont Northeastern might still be hurting after the 14-8 defeat they got from Eastern in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can the Rockets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
