Baseball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy fell victim to Kent Denver and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Sun Devils, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Commanders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Kennedy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Nielsen, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Kennedy is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Kent Denver, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-1.

Kennedy and Kent Denver will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time Kennedy sees the field they'll take on Lincoln at 4:15 p.m. on April 2. As for Kent Denver, their break will end when they face Jefferson Academy at 4:15 p.m. on April 1.
