Basketball Recap: Glassboro Takes a Loss

If Glassboro was riding high fresh off their 87-30 takedown of Pennsville Memorial last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Glassboro Bulldogs fell 60-50 to the Wildwood Warriors on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost eight in a row.

It was another big night for Brian Cunniff, who dropped a double-double on 34 points and 11 rebounds for Wildwood. The contest was Cunniff's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Nolan Mawhinney, who posted nine points in addition to five assists and three blocks.

Glassboro's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Wildwood, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

Glassboro has already played their next game (against Woodstown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wildwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-48 loss against Lower Cape May on the 25th.
