Baseball Recap: Pendleton Bulldogs vs. Emerald Vikings        
        
		
            
 Pendleton had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Emerald Vikings  a   10-0 shutout  on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Pendleton also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2018.
  Ayden Clay made a big impact no matter where he played. He  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Clay was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Nash Cahaly was a standout: he scored two  runs while going 1-for-2.  Jayden Branson was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Pendleton's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Emerald, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost four of their last five games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record  this season.
 Pendleton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Emerald, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Ware Shoals at 6:00  p.m.
