Softball Recap: Havre Wins Going Away Against Sidney

Havre won the last time they faced Sidney and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Ponies put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 12-2 win. Considering the Blue Ponies have won three games by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Havre and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Sidney, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Havre will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Glasgow at 5:00 p.m. on May 1. As for Sidney, they will challenge Custer County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
