Recap: Rhodes Rams vs. Harding Skippers
On Saturday, Rhodes got the win against Harding by a conclusive 45-23.
Rhodes' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Betsaida Byrd, who dropped a triple-double on 12 points, 15 rebounds, and ten steals. Another player making a difference was Daniya King, who scored 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Rhodes now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Harding, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rhodes will take on East Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Tech comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 13 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Harding, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Maplewood at 5:30 p.m. Maplewood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Harding in Ohio (Maplewood is ranked 158th, while Harding is ranked 608th).
