Baseball Game Preview: Pennridge Rams vs. Souderton Indians

Pennridge hasn't had much luck against Souderton recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Pennridge will head out to square off against Souderton at 4:00 p.m. Pennridge will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Pennridge beat Perkiomen Valley 13-10.

Connor Smith looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits.

On the hitting side, Pennridge got a big performance out of Connor Murray, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Noah Keating was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Souderton was not able to secure the win in their season-opener on Thursday. They and Pennsbury finished up on equal footing with a 12-12 tie.

Pennridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. Souderton's draw gives them a new season record of 0-0-1.

Pennridge couldn't quite get it done against Souderton in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 10-5. Can Pennridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
